MONDAY DEPARTURE INFORMATION
•We will leave promptly at 6:00 AM. Please arrive early for loading the bus.
(5:45 AM load time)
•We will depart from Beavertown God’s Missionary Church. You are welcome to leave a vehicle in the church parking lot. Park closest to the flags.
LODGING
Everyone will be staying in different locations. Some will be staying as a guest in a home. Others are on their own. There is no “rhyme nor reason” as to where everybody is staying. Just enjoy where you are placed and “go with the flow.”
FINANCES
The trip is free-will offering. If you can give a lot, please do so. If you cannot give at all, you are still welcome. We want everyone to receive a blessing from this trip, and we know that you coming to Harkers Island will be a blessing to the people there.
SIGHT SEEING
We will have opportunity to sight-see. Do not feel obligated to take part if you would prefer to stay in your room and relax. (The only charge will be Tuesday’s ferry service to see the Cape Lookout Lighthouse if you desire to go) (The ferry is weather permitting)
MEALS
• The meal schedule provided by the church during convention will be as follows:
Tuesday
Snack/Meal following the evening service
Wednesday
Main meal following the morning service Snack/Meal following the evening service
Thursday
Main meal following the morning service Snack/Meal following the evening service
• You will be responsible for all other meals during the trip. You will have access to a kitchen/ refrigerator, etc. at the location you are staying.
• You are welcome to bring food items from home. There is plenty of cargo space on the bus.
• Just before we arrive on Monday evening, we will make a stop where you may purchase any cold
items for your room.
• Most places of lodging are within a nice walking distance (1 mile or less) of “Seaside restaurant/ convenience market.” “Seaside” serves three meals per day. Their “shrimp burgers” are the best.
SUGGESTIONS
•Bring sunscreen or a hat if you plan to do much walking or if you plan to take the ferry ride to Cape Lookout. It is usually “hot” in Harkers Island.
• You will have time in the morning and afternoon to rest or take a walk. You may want to bring a good book. If you prefer not to go on the “sight seeing ventures” you will have even more time to rest.
• The churches are small on Harkers Island and they work VERY hard to provide for our lodging and meals. Be appreciative, of course, and put yourself into the services. This will be the biggest thank you that can be given. This annual IHC is a real boost to the people there.
• Be sure you bring all medications you may need.

• Eat breakfast before you arrive for departure. You are welcome to bring snack items for the trip.
• We will be stopping for lunch.
• We will be stopping for supper Monday evening before arriving on Harkers Island. Choice of food includes Chick fil A, Arby’s, several steak house options and other eating establishments.
• We will be stopping at a place for cold food items just before our arrival in Harkers Island in case vou would like to purchase any breakfast items or lunch items for your refrigerator where you are staying.
TUESDAY
9:00-9:30 AM Pick Up at your Guest Quarters
10:00 AM Ferry ride to Cape Lookout Lighthouse
$24 round trip for adults. $17 children (ages 3-11). 2 and under are free.
1:00 PM Pick up at your guest quarters or at the Ferry(for those coming from to Cape Lookout)
for lunch in town. If you prefer you may also pack a lunch.
3:30 PM Return to Harkers Island
